AP COMPUTER SCIENCE A RESOURCES

Minorities Achieving in Computer Science (MACS) supports the achievement of students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in the field of computer science by providing information on available resources and opportunities.  While many of them focus specifically on students from underrepresented groups, we hope that all students with a passion for technology will benefit. The site highlights resources and opportunities in 5 key areas.  

AP Exam Resources lists some support resources for high school students taking either the AP Computer Science A exam or the AP Computer Science Principles Exam.

Online Courses shares popular classes available for free on the internet in three areas: Java Programming, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

 

Summer Programs provides a list of free summer opportunities in technology camps and courses for high school students.  Most of these focus on students from underrepresented backgrounds.

 

Scholarships describes opportunities for financial support intended for students attending a 4-year college or university.  Many of the scholarships listed encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds and allow high school seniors to apply as well.

 

General includes helpful and informative items related to computer science.
